Previewing the Charleston RiverDogs

This post is a a bit late, as one game has already been played in the series. The stats below take last night's game into account.

Charleston hasn't always played its stars. Kendall Coleman has been one of the best RiverDog hitters early, but hasn't gotten regular playing time yet. Even top prospect Kyle Holder, drafted in the first round last year out of San Diego, has been in and out of the lineup so far.

The RiverDogs have two pitchers with South Carolina connections, James Reeves out of Ashley Ridge and The Citadel and Brody Koerner out of Clemson. Fortunately Koerner isn't scheduled to start here, good that we won't have hillbilly bandwagon fans getting a pitcher to root for from the opposing team.
